【摘要】:Thismethodisusefulforlocatingandmeasuringthesizeofgasleakseitherasaquality-controltestorasafield-inspectionprocedure.Itcanbeusedtotestcriticalpartsorcontainersthatwillholdtoxicorexplosivegasesorliquidsorasaquicktestforothercontainers.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthetestingoflargesingle-anddouble-walledtanks,pressureandvacuumvessels,laminated,lined-ordouble-walledparts,complexpipingsystems,flexiblecontainers(suchasaircraftfueltanks),glass-to-metalsealsinhybridpackages,andsystemsthatinherentlycontainorwillcontainammonia(suchaslargetonnagerefrigerationsystemsandfertilizerstoragesystems).1.2Thismethodcanbeusedonpiping,valvesandcontainerswithwelded,fitted,orlaminatedsectionsthatcanbesealedattheirendsorbetweentheirouterandinnerwallsandthataredesignedforinternalpressuresof34.5kPa(5psig)orgreater.1.3Basicproceduresaredescribedbasedonthetypeofinspectionused.Theseproceduresshouldbelimitedtofindingleakageindicationsof4.5x10-12mol/s(1x10-7Stdcm3/s)orlarger.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.(Formorespecificsafetyprecautionaryinformationsee7.4,8.2,9.4.1,and)103.1.
